Ghost Notes - Hiatus
Friend and long time collaborator Cyrus Shahrad (Hiatus) has just finished work on his new album, ‘Ghost Notes’. I was very sad to hear that Sebastian Horsley was found dead in his flat yesterday after a suspected drug overdose. I had the pleasure of meeting Sebastian in his Soho flat, not so long ago. I had always half expected to wake to the news that he had killed himself, as he had spoken so often about doing so with the loaded pistol he kept by his bedside. Acquired For National Portrait Gallery Permanent...
After my success in the Taylor Wessing Prize over the past couple of years The National Portrait Gallery have now acquired 3 of my portraits (posted below) for their permanent collection. Andy Serkis taken for the Guardian Weekend Magazine, Tom Jones for The Sunday Telegraph - Seven Magazine and Stephen Merchant also for Seven.
