I recently dug out this film I made nearly 10 years ago now. At a time when all I was reading was the works of the Beat Generation. In true Kerouac style it is taken from one unedited roll of cine film. Thanks to Cyrus who got the Video transferred for me and overlayed the new score - the fantastic cover of Aphex Twin’s ‘Rhubarb’ by James Devane....
Laurie At The National Portrait Gallery
My portrait of Laurie Watkins is now on display at The National Portrait Gallery as part of The Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, 2010.
I couldn’t make the opening but Laurie was there in my place. If anyone wants to go and see the larger than life print the exhibition is on until February next year.

Hiatus’ overwhelmingly beautiful new album can now be found on itunes (I’ll post a link above this video).
I cannot recommend this album enough, it’s the most listened to and inspiring music in my collection.

National Portrait Gallery
Two more of my portraits have been acquired for The National Portrait Galleries permanent collection. The pictures of Peter Crouch and benedict Cumberbatch were shot earlier this year for Seven Magazine and The Guardian Weekend.
